I build and look after websites for charities and community groups — my time and skills are free, always. If a domain name or hosting costs something to buy or keep running, that's passed on at cost, nothing added. Retired from the day job, but not from the craft, and happy to put it to use somewhere it matters.

A charity getting a proper website built by someone who actually knows what they're doing, for nothing more than the cost of a domain name, can feel like a big fat chance — as in, not likely. This is that chance, on offer.
I retired at the end of 2024, and between the workshop, the garden, and walking the dog, I still wanted something that used the working half of my brain. Building websites for good causes that could use the help — but couldn't necessarily justify the cost — turned out to be exactly that.
No sales pitch, no fee for my time. Where there's an unavoidable cost — a domain name, hosting — that's recovered at cost and nothing more, and always agreed with you upfront.
Worth mentioning: this site itself was built working alongside Claude, an AI. The thinking and the decisions are all mine — Claude just helped me get there quicker.
